A couple suggestions

Hi Mom!
I was thinking about your snacking problem and I thought of a couple things that might help take your mind off of it until meal times. (Probably allow yourself one snack. I try to keep it around 150 calories.....popcorn + a piece of fruit?) When you are not doing anything else but sitting around and watching tv maybe do some of these things to help pass the time:
Build a jigsaw puzzle (time really flies doing that..I have some you can do)
Do a crossword puzzle
Unpack/sort through boxes
Scrapbook
take a nap
Go for a walk and really earn your next meal (don't forget your mp3)
And I know you think you look like a horse chewing gum, but it really helps to get through the cravings.

Also, back to the Biggest Loser again, but there was this one lady that everyone thought was throwing each weigh in for strategy play in the "game" but she SWORE she wasn't. Each weigh in she either gained a pound or more or only lost 1 pound or stayed the same. She was really frustrated because everyone else was losing big numbers each week and she wasn't. When she got eliminated and went home from the show she just realized that for her it was just going to take some time for her body to get in a groove. She did finally start losing weight but it took her a while. She also got really into kick boxing and found something she really enjoys. So what I'm saying is, don't get discouraged. Don't give up. You will see results if you keep with it.
