Mom-yes, salads and wraps are decieving aren't they? Salad's especially. I guess we have got it in our minds that salads are good for you but when you put dressing and toppings on the nutrition goes. It's a sad story. I guess we just need to stick with a side of raw veggies. Even cooked veggies aren't the best. When cooked too long some of the nutrients get cooked out. So it's best to just stick to raw so you know you are getting your nutrition. I guess as far as eating out goes just do what Anna said. Find out where you are going before and go to the website and decide what you are getting before hand so you are not questioning the calories. And some restaraunts have a low calorie or even WW menu.
For me I've been doing really well up until dinner time. I didn't have time to make dinner before Javen's game. And then Javen's game was forever long because no other teams were using the field so the kids just played longer. So we didn't get home til 8:15. I did not want to start dinner at that time so we had leftover spaghetti. Again, high in calories. But I do take comfort in the rest of my day and know it was just a big dinner. I did levels one and two of the Biggest Loser Sculpting workout. It's about a half hour long. So I guess all in all it wasn't a bad day. I could do better, though.
Tonight we make crunchy taco salad.
