Wow Amy, 600 calories! That is impressive and I was feeling good about my 270.
Yesterday was a really good day. I was under by 500 calories, but that is also because I added 270 with the calories lost from cycle.
Ben suggested that I not adjust my daily calorie count with how many I earn from exercise. It seems that if I earned extra calories from exercise that I should be given extra calories for the day. I thought I would ask you all and ask what you do? Just wondering if I should or not add extra calories from exercise.
My sister and her in-laws also happen to be doing the same thing we are so that has been really helpful. Our meals have been pretty low on calories.
Amy, should I give you my calories for tomorrow?
Well...with weight watchers you get a certain amount of points per day and you can earn them as well with exercise so they would say go ahead and use 'em. that being said I try not to actually use my earned activity points. But the idea they run on is that if you use your allotted points, earn a few and use those too you should still be able to drop a pound or two a week. hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteAmy, how the heck do you burn 600 calories in 60 minutes?
Ok, So maybe I'm counting my calories for exercise wrong...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm...
I put the amount of time I exercised online with this website I use and that's what it said. It said 60 minutes of high impact step aerobics (which I think I did....) was 600 calories. Sounds high so maybe not that much was burned. I don't know. I'm probably wrong.
But for running in case anyone is inerested to know for every mile you run it's 100 calories. So five miles is 500 calories which would take me about 50 minutes. So maybe it is right. Anyone know how to calculate for sure?
