Quote of the Day--Amy

I was watching Oprah while folding laundry today and she had on Raquel Welch. She wrote a book on aging and in it she said something that I felt I wanted to post on here. The quote was longer on the show, but this was all I could find online:

She called aging gracefully a game that women might as well decide to play. The alternative being to bow out and be spectators. Welch said, 'Sitting around doing nothing is far from the best option. Just as you maintain your home, your car, your garden, you should look after your greatest gift: your body.'

I hope we can all take something from that.
